New Lord-Lieutenant for Lancashire

Amanda Parker

The Hockey Club is delighted to congratulate Life Member, Amanda Parker, past Captain of the Ladies 1st Hockey Team,  on her appointment by King Charles III as the new Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire, taking over the appointment on August 2nd.     She will be the first female to take up the role in almost 500 years.

Amanda is Treasurer of the Lancashire Hockey Development Group and a Founding Member of the Lancashire Hockey Umpires Association.

She has devoted much of her life to voluntary services and has been a magistrate for 20 years as well as Chair of Crime Prevention.
