Lancashire Ladies Over 70s Team Update
On the 17th July the team travelled to Byfleet to play the Surrey team. Surrey are comfortably leading the league and we had a tough match. Unfortunately we were beaten 4-0, yet the team performed well without two of the players from last year’s team (Roberta and Irene who are both injured).
The Team: Aileen Hext, Lesley Greenwood, Linda Huntingdon - all from BNSC - and Chris Barron from Lytham Tennis Club.
On the 23rd July we then played Hertfordshire at BNSC. This was a very close match, entertaining to watch, yet we were beaten 3-1, which certainly did not reflect the performance of the team.
